About the Role

Join Our Team as an Lead Avionics Responsible Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.

Responsibilities

  • As an Lead Avionics Responsible Product Engineer for Flight Controls you will lead and coordinate technical design development, own component production, delivery, and all aspects of engineering closeouts (Discrepancy Reports; End-Item Data Packages, Material Review Board, Failure Review Board, etc.) and coordinate with suppliers as required.
  • Work on a cross-functional team in the development and certification of a supplier avionics product.
  • Support generation, review and presentation of Product Certification
  • Manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.
  • Lead specific topics (as applicable) during engineering reviews (to include but not limited to): System Requirements Review (SRR), Change Review Board, Engineering Review Board, Quality Review Board, Material Review Board, Failure Review Boards, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Experience with high-reliability electronics circuit design.
  • Experience as a technical lead or responsible engineer.
  • Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret or higher clearance. US Citizenship is required.

Compensation

  • The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $139,600 - $246,100.
