About the Role

This position involves using the nursing process to provide care according to the organization’s policies and standards. The role focuses on optimizing patient outcomes while ensuring efficient resource use in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care related to infusion services.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept new hires.
• Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS certification before start date.
• ONS certification within required timeframe for new hires.
