About the Role

This position involves performing various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable standards and policies. The role requires a combination of technical skill and patient interaction for successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and schedules exams while educating patients on procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media/medications within scope of practice and monitors patient condition.
• Prepares equipment and ensures quality control procedures are performed on imaging tools.
• Positions patients for imaging procedures and resolves any issues related to image quality.
• Exercises critical thinking skills and operates with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by ARRT and holds any necessary specialty ARRT certifications.
• BLS certification through recognized organizations, valid for 60 days of hire.
