About the Role

This position involves essential duties within sterile processing, including the cleaning, inspection, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring critical thinking and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument and equipment decontamination and cleaning following IFU’s.
• Inspects and ensures all external indicators, filters and labels are appropriate.
• Documents work performed utilizing instrument tracking software or paper documentation.
• Performs routine cleaning and sterilizer testing.
• Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgement.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certified as a CSPDT or CRCST.
• Preferred: 3 months' certified experience.
