About the Role

In this onsite role, you will provide top-of-scope pharmacy support and partner with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care. You will manage medication availability and comply with safety protocols in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) to ensure unit-specific medication is safely available
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging adhering to safety standards
• Conduct regular audits of medication inventory to identify expired items
• Provide precepting and mentoring to newcomers in healthcare

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
