About the Role

The CT Xray Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality imaging while ensuring thorough patient care. This role involves administrative duties and communication with patients and caregivers, emphasizing quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality imaging while accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathology utilizing proper diagnostic imaging protocols.
• Facilitates patient flow daily, managing STAT/urgent and high priority patients.
• Provides age-appropriate care and prepares patients for procedures.
• Operates all imaging equipment according to safety procedures and protocols.
• Maintains competency and registry in two or more Radiology disciplines.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiography program
• Three years of imaging experience
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT(R)
• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist ARRT(CT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
