About the Role

This role requires monitoring patients and maintaining a safe environment during procedures. The RN is responsible for preparing the environment, assessing patient needs, and ensuring that all safety checklists are completed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the environment and orient the patient prior to procedures.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with nursing standards.
• Provide nursing care in a technically complex environment.
• Evaluate the learning needs of patients and provide appropriate education.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and make quick decisions in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid state licensure.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program if less than 3 years experience.
• BLS certification from recognized organizations.
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program.
