Manufacturing Support Team Member/Buy Part Planner - Level 2

Responsibilities

• Ensure that requisitions are generated accurately, on‑time, and in alignment with engineering releases, demand forecasts, and inventory policies
• Act as the bridge between Demand Management, Quality, Procurement, and Production
• Be responsible for key performance idicators such as ECONs, material master extensions, exception message processing, and expired material maintenance.

Requirements

• 3 + years of hands‑on experience in material planning, inventory control, or procurement for a manufacturing/aerospace environment.• Demonstrated experience creating and managing purchase requisitions (PRs) and working with ERP systems (SAP MM/PP, Oracle, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile demand, inventory, and procurement data
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a shift‑based, fast‑pace environment and to support “go‑fast” surge actions when needed.
• Bachelor or Master's degree in business or supply chain management
• End‑to‑end understanding of demand‑to‑supply processes (forecast, MRP, PR/PO, inventory) • Familiarity with make‑vs‑buy, subcontracting, and central‑procurement routing
• Advanced proficiency in SAP MM/PP (PR creation, release, hold handling, ECON workflow)
