Anesthesia Technician

About the Role

This position requires an onsite presence and does not allow for hybrid or remote working. The role involves supporting anesthesia providers with patient care and equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sterilizes and sets up all types of anesthesia equipment.
• Assists anesthesia provider with monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management.
• Provides daily maintenance of all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Maintains a sufficient inventory of all equipment and supplies.
• Employs critical thinking skills and decisive judgement while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Minimum of 6 months of healthcare experience.
• BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
