Kitchen Assistant - At Large - East Highlands Ranch

About the Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work at various locations based on kitchen needs under the supervision of the Area Manager. You will develop and promote good community relations among various community and school clientele while ensuring compliance with safety and health standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily meal counts and production records.
• Assist in the setup and cleanup of serving areas for timely service to students.
• Operate Point of Sale system and reconcile monies daily.
• Manage the opening, closing, cooking, and serving of students in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain good community relationships with Nutrition Services staff, school staff, students, and parents.
• Serve meals daily while ensuring compliance with HACCP and health department sanitation standards.

Requirements

• ServSafe Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• High School or Equivalent education necessary.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational and time management skills needed.
