Barista

About the Role

Egg Harbor Cafe, a family-owned breakfast-and-lunch spot, is hiring a Barista for its Highlands Ranch location. You make and pour the full beverage menu, take orders on the POS tablet, and help the front of house keep service moving. No experience is required — the cafe provides on-the-job training. Shifts start and end early and you never work nights, because the cafe closes at 2pm.

Responsibilities

• Take and ring orders directly into the POS tablet
• Prepare the entire beverage menu, including seasonal items
• Make and pour additional beverages on the menu, including alcohol drinks if 21 or over
• Use and maintain barista and beverage equipment
• Restock beverage supplies and keep the work area clean and organized
• Deliver beverages to guests
• Perform opening, closing and on-shift side work

Requirements

• Entry-level — no previous experience required, on-the-job training provided
• Must be 21 or over to pour alcohol drinks
• Availability on weekends and holidays (the busiest days)

Compensation

• $12.14 per hour base pay, plus tips. The posting states tips may bring total hourly earnings to approximately $19.00 per hour, and that actual earnings vary by shift, location and guest volume.
