Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer (Staff, Level IV)

About the Role

This position is contingent upon a program award expected in Fall 2026. You will be involved in the design, analysis, and simulation of spacecraft control systems, contributing to innovative space solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and simulate spacecraft control systems
• Develop and validate GN&C algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python
• Perform hardware in the loop and flight software testing
• Contribute to flight software development and auto code generation to C++
• Conduct jitter and performance analyses for high precision missions
• Collaborate with cross functional engineers and mission operators

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in spacecraft controls
• Strong experience in simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python)
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
• Good communication skills for complex technical issues
