About the Role
As the GNC Lead for Space Development Agency Programs, you will establish the guidance, navigation, and control solution for critical Space Systems. This includes leading engineers in developing GNC algorithms and collaborating with other engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineers supporting GNC algorithm development activities
- Provide technical and management oversight for GNC planning
- Serve as the primary liaison with other engineering disciplines
- Develop flight-worthy code based on GNC algorithm prototypes
- Support teams providing expertise for operational constellations
- Create innovative solutions for special studies and proposals
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Skills in rigid body dynamics and control theory
- U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance
