About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist I, you will provide evaluations and treatment services for patients who need feeding and sensory processing support. You will work closely with families to ensure a collaborative, family-centered approach to care and have opportunities for advancement through continuing education and specialization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with families, physicians, and other providers to ensure optimal clinical services.
- Completes written documentation as per department standards.
- Independently evaluates children with a variety of diagnoses in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets.
- Demonstrates professional behaviors while adhering to hospital policies and promoting development activities.
- Provides consultation and education to families.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- 3 years preferred experience with feeding and/or swallowing interventions.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR certification required.
- Colorado State Registration for Occupational Therapy.
