About the Role

The RN in this position provides top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. This role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice, contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide top of scope practice in direct patient care
• Utilize the nursing process in assessments and care planning
• Prioritize wellness and patient-centered care
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes
• Model proficiency and precept new healthcare graduates
• Ensure evidence-based practices are implemented in patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• 6 months RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 3 months
• BLS certification in hand before start date
• Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
