About the Role

Griddled — the family-owned crêpe and panini shop at the Outlets at Castle Rock — is hiring a Food Preparer & Sales Clerk. It's a two-in-one counter role: prep food to recipe, then run the register, take orders, and keep guests happy. Expect a fast pace, real customer interaction, and a clean, busy kitchen. From $15.16/hour plus $4–$9/hour in tips; weekends required, flexible scheduling otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately
• Take and manage customer orders
• Keep the workspace clean and sanitized — food handling, bussing, and kitchen sanitation
• Operate kitchen equipment safely
• Handle the cash register and retail sales transactions
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service

Requirements

• Food preparation or food-service experience is desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers preferred
• Strong time management in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation a plus
• Excellent customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Basic math skills for cash and retail transactions
• Able to work weekends and keep shift commitments
• A team player who flags needs (equipment, inventory) to management

Compensation

• Base pay: from $15.16/hour
• Tips: about $4–$9/hour
