Assistant Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery FT Nights

About the Role

The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee nursing staff and manage patient care within the Labor and Delivery unit. This role involves ensuring high clinical standards, mentoring staff, and implementing improvement strategies for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments.
• Assess patients’ conditions and develop care plans.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor performance of nursing staff and conduct appraisals.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate's of Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's of Nursing (Preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year Labor and Delivery experience (Required).
• 1 year+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience (Preferred).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required).
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications (Required).
