About the Role

The Kitchen Manager oversees the kitchen's operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering community relations. This role includes managing staff training and maintaining kitchen standards.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop kitchen staff.
• Ensure safety and HACCP practices are followed.
• Manage and train kitchen assistants.
• Oversee sanitation and cleaning of kitchen facilities.
• Handle employee issues with discretion and confidentiality.
• Maintain food inventory to meet business requirements.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent education.
• ServSafe Manager Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
