AGM / Kitchen Manager

About the Role

Assistant General Manager / Kitchen Manager at Champagne Velvet Proper Kitchen & Bar, Upland Brewing Company's Castle Rock restaurant. Reports to the Restaurant General Manager and supervises Restaurant Managers, Supervisors and Team Members. Two openings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as support for the Service Manager, Supervisors and Team Members
• Handle ordering and inventory within budgetary compliance
• Recruit, hire and train team members and produce weekly schedules
• Ensure back of house consistently meets company standards
• Oversee planning and execution of group business, special events and buyouts
• Follow labor plans and staffing matrices for hiring and schedule writing
• Maintain responsibility for financial performance directly impacting restaurant operations
• Control cash and related receipts per cash handling procedures

Requirements

• Be 21 years of age
• At least three years of front-of-house operations and/or supervisory experience
• Understand cooking times, temperatures and processes
• Able to work in any position in the restaurant for extended periods
• Math skills for understanding financial statements; able to operate a cash register and POS
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand for long periods and work in fluctuating temperatures (freezer, cooking line, patio)
• Must obtain certifications as required by company policy

Compensation

• Salary range: $52,000 - $57,000/yr
