About the Role

Through this position, student teachers will gain a foundation and the preparation to fulfill the responsibilities of being a successful and collaborative educator. Student teachers will work closely with a mentor to gradually take co-ownership of the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing a positive culture and climate.
• Demonstrate professional and ethical conduct by following all laws, district policies and school procedures.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated instructional activities.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Utilize and integrate technology to provide diverse learning materials.
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with students, staff, and parents.
