2L Summer Intern (District Attorney's Office)

About the Role

The 2L internship program offers law students the chance to work on real criminal cases alongside experienced prosecutors. Interns will engage in various aspects of criminal prosecution, allowing them to gain hands-on experience from investigative stages through to trial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct meaningful work on real criminal cases
• Assist in drafting legal pleadings
• Research legal issues related to cases
• Observe courtroom proceedings
• Prepare exhibits for trial

Requirements

• Currently attending law school
• Completed first year of law school
• Ability to work 8 hours a day, 4-5 days a week
