About the Role

Bartender behind the main bar at Champagne Velvet Proper Kitchen & Bar. Mix cocktails, pour beer (including the namesake Champagne Velvet pilsner), serve snacks and drinks, take orders, and keep the bar clean and stocked.

Responsibilities

Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages
Interact with customers, take orders, serve snacks and drinks
Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu
Check ID and confirm legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and maintain excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements

Proven working experience as a bartender
Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
Knowledge of a second language is a plus
