Project Manager

About the Role

HEI Civil is hiring an experienced Project Manager to work under the direction of the Senior Project Manager in Castle Rock, CO. The ideal candidate manages multiple projects at the same time, covering cost and change control, scheduling, subcontractor management and jobsite coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost and change control, including change order review, negotiation and delay analysis
• Track key project documents — submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoices, payments and lien releases
• Create and maintain weekly schedules for budget management and tracking
• Ensure work complies with all relevant building and safety codes
• Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts; select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
• Coordinate with Superintendents on schedules, labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors and suppliers
• Review costs and quality daily; control and monitor Extra Work Orders
• Conduct weekly key project update meetings and produce weekly projections

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with civil and/or heavy highway construction
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and HCSS products
• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate and control costs
• Must be able to effectively communicate with and manage subcontractors
• Knowledge of construction technology, equipment, means and methods, supervision, estimating, schedules, budget and safety
• Strong interpersonal skills and superior customer service

Compensation

• Base pay: $115,000+/yr (based on experience)
• Full-time, exempt
