About the Role

Officiate adult sports games (basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer, flag football). Enforce game rules fairly and consistently, monitor player/coach/spectator conduct, make quick decisions on penalties/fouls/violations, communicate professionally with players and coaches, and report any incidents. Must be at least 18 years old. CPR and First Aid certification required (can be obtained through Recreation department).

Responsibilities

Officiate adult sports games such as basketball, soccer, and volleyball.
Monitor player conduct and promote sportsmanship.
Make quick decisions on penalties and rule violations.
Maintain professionalism during games and resolve disputes as needed.
Communicate with players and coaches for smooth game progression.
Keep accurate records of scores and incidents.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Previous experience or training as an adult sports official preferred.
Valid Driver's License required.
CPR and First Aid Certification required.
