About the Role

The Town of Castle Rock is looking for a talented individual to lead the Engineering Division, ensuring operational efficiency and enhancing customer service. This role involves strategic leadership, staff development, and project management to support the Town's growth and infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises personnel within the Engineering Division, planning and assigning work.
  • Provides strategic leadership for the Engineering Division, optimizing workflows and business processes.
  • Develops and oversees budgets within the Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Funds.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations to Town Council and other stakeholders.
  • Communicates with various stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; Master's preferred.
  • Six years of experience in project management of capital projects, with two years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License.
  • Professional Engineer registration in Colorado or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Strong knowledge of municipal capital project design and management.
