About the Role

Front-of-house TeaRista at Teaology Tea Cafe in downtown Castle Rock. Prepare teas, specialty beverages, and food to recipe or customized for each guest, handle cash and POS, keep the space clean and organized, and deliver a warm, friendly customer experience. Part time with flexible mornings, afternoons, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and understand customers, responding to their needs through clear, pleasant communication
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers
• Handle cash and operate the POS accurately
• Maintain store operating policies and standards, including quality, cleanliness, and safety
• Keep a clean and organized workspace
• Learn new beverage recipes and menu items

Requirements

• A friendly, positive people person who works well on a team
• Focus on quality and pride in your work
• Comfortable with cash handling and store safety
• Able to stay calm in a fast-paced, energetic environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Available for flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and/or holidays
• Must complete a Food Handlers permit as a training requirement
• Previous experience helpful but not required

Compensation

• Base pay: $16 - $18/hr, based on experience
• Plus tips
