Fitness Instructor - Pilates Reformer

About the Role

Part-time evenings and weekends. Develops and instructs fitness classes including aerobics, cycling, strength, yoga, and water aerobics. Adapts class content for fitness/skill level, educates participants on technique for safety, and keeps accurate class attendance records. Two years of fitness teaching experience required; CPR/First Aid and a National Fitness Certification required; Pilates Reformer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and instructs various fitness classes, adapting content for participant needs.
• Educates participants on proper technique to ensure safety.
• Keeps accurate records including class attendance.
• Attends staff meetings and workshops to stay updated on fitness trends.
• Provides customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding fitness classes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in teaching fitness classes or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications required or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• A National Fitness Certification.
