Certified Athletic Trainer Ambulatory

About the Role

The Certified Athletic Trainer is tasked with educating patients and caregivers on treatment plans and conducting clinical evaluations. They will monitor patient progress, communicate effectively with healthcare teammates, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Communicate with the physical therapist and healthcare team regarding patient status.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in medical records.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care quality.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Athletic Training or related field (Required).
• Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) (Required).
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS) (Required).
• 1+ years in healthcare or related field (Preferred).
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English.
