RN Oncology Navigator

About the Role

In this role, you will guide patients on treatment plans, assist with scheduling appointments, and provide psychosocial support. You will also track outcomes of referrals and treatments to ensure program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and guidance to patients from initial contact through the continuum of care.
• Guides patients on treatment plans and assists with scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Tracks outcomes of referrals and treatments to measure program effectiveness.
• Develops and implements patient education programs and tools.
• Serves as a liaison between clinical specialists, primary care physicians, and patients.
• Coordinates and participates in community education programs and health fairs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Nursing (Required)
• 1+ years in acute care nursing (Required)
• 1+ years in an oncology setting (Preferred)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required)
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)
• Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) (Preferred)
