Senior Estimator - Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers

About the Role

The Senior Estimator will be part of a rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, focusing on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects. This role offers an opportunity to engage in complex estimating tasks while mentoring younger team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to determine efficient methods for estimating construction costs
• Develop estimates for large, complex jobs
• Create logistic plans for material handling
• Mentor younger estimators in preparing estimates
• Review estimates to ensure data completeness
• Stay current on industry trends and developments

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• At least 15 years of experience in estimating or pre-construction
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of project scheduling and cost control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
