About the Role

The Medical Practice Technician performs routine clinical or administrative duties in support of assigned areas. This onsite role is essential for ensuring a smooth operation in primary and specialty care clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with patient care under the direction of a provider or nurse.
  • Performs basic clinical skills and specimen collection.
  • Monitors and communicates changes in patient conditions.
  • Documents patient care provided.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies including cleaning and troubleshooting.
  • Performs administrative duties such as filing, reception, and patient registration.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current State Licensure as an EMT or EMT-I.
