Electrical Engineer - Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering

About the Role

The role involves helping establish, maintain, and improve company standards while contributing to project success. Candidates will utilize current technical tools and software to create design documentation and layouts while exhibiting flexibility in their work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develops preliminary and detail engineering design for industrial and water projects
• Performs load calculations and coordination study for facility electrical systems
• Develops technical reports and white papers
• Reports project progress updates to Lead Engineer
• Applies engineering judgment to daily tasks
• Participates in project meetings as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• 0-2 years of experience in electrical design for Industrial and/or Water projects
• Proficient in CAD software, like AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• EIT (Engineer in Training) preferred
• GPA above 3.0 preferred
