Civil Designer - Digital Survey

About the Role

As a Civil Designer on the Digital Survey team, you'll be integral in creating accurate representations of project designs and existing site conditions. Your work will involve modeling surface data and updating it as new information is gathered, ensuring our projects maintain quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models using construction plans and shop drawings.
• Research available public surface data.
• Serve as a primary resource for LiDAR data processing on KIE projects.
• Work with point cloud data collected from various methods.
• Conduct quality control on deliverables.
• Mentor Junior Designers as needed.

Requirements

• At least an associate degree in computer aided design or similar.
• 3-8 years of experience in CAD, modeling or drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Connect.
• General knowledge of engineering principles.
• Strong attention to detail with effective communication skills.
