Responsibilities

• In office work primarily.
• Work with engineering teams in developing preliminary and final design plans and details.
• Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations.
• Use MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Open Rail/Open Roads Designer, Civil3D, and other civil engineering design software.
• Produce documents with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Follow various Transit Agency, Railroad, and DOT Standards and work with companies’ CAD Standards when applicable.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in computer-aided design, 3D modeling, drafting, survey or similar program experience.
• 2+ years of experience in computer-aided design, modeling or drafting field or experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation (2D & 3D).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Civil 3D, Bentley Inroads, Bentley Open Rail/Open Roads Designer.
• Experience with other 3D modeling tools, such as Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Navisworks, is an advantage.
