Senior Structural Engineer - Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead teams in developing advanced solutions to complex structural issues and independently develop and review major designs and proposals. This role requires sound judgment and initiative while fostering collaboration on projects.

Responsibilities

• Working on preliminary engineering designs and EPC/design-build pursuits and projects.
• Ensuring designs are completed with consistent application of design standards.
• Providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) services as part of interdisciplinary pursuit teams.
• Coordinating with the Design and Project Management Team for project delivery.
• Leading the exploration of alternate designs or new technologies.
• Interfacing with Clients, Construction Personnel, Subconsultants, and Regulatory Agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible structural engineering experience.
• Hydraulic structures-focused experience, including stability analyses and structural design.
• Experience working directly with contractors and construction teams preferred.
• Professional Engineer or equivalent registration required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
