About the Role

Full-time Registered Nurse position in Endoscopy at AdventHealth Parker, day shifts, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The role centers on comprehensive patient assessments — physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors — and developing individualized care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Associate’s of Nursing (Required)
Bachelor’s of NursingAcute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body

Compensation

Base pay: $34.26 - $59.24/hr
