About the Role

As a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), you will assist physicians in performing specialized cardiovascular procedures and ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will also troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and prioritize your clinical and administrative work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Adjusts approach based on patient understanding of test procedures and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and patient issues.
  • Prioritizes clinical and administrative work independently and identifies process improvements.
  • Assists physicians in performing specialized cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterization.
  • Evaluates and documents patient status.
  • Responds appropriately to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required.
  • 1+ years of cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
  • Basic Life Support – CPR certification required.
