Clinical Nutrition Assistant

About the Role

As a Clinical Nutrition Assistant, your main duties will involve updating patient menus and performing data entry related to diet orders and nutrition care. You will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive personalized and appropriate dietary support.

Responsibilities

• Update patient menus to reflect changes in diet orders, discharges, and transfers
• Maintain sufficient stock of patient menus and office supplies
• Perform data entry and take patient menu selections accurately
• Apply knowledge of regular and therapeutic diets to support menu planning
• Communicate dietary consults and referrals to the Nutrition Services Team

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• 1+ previous food service, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred
• Organizational and verbal interpersonal skills
• Ability to read/comprehend written and follow verbal instructions
