About the Role

The Nurse Resident will independently prepare and dispense patient-specific medication doses while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety. This role is vital in contributing to the overall efficiency of patient care within the surgical unit, helping to enhance the healing ministry of Christ.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepares and dispenses patient-specific medication doses.
• Manages complex and sterile medication preparations, including chemotherapy.
• Provides coverage in advanced pharmacy practice areas.
• Manages medication inventory operations, including ordering and stocking.
• Monitors and ensures proper medication storage.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing (Required)
• High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required)
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program (Preferred)
• 1+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience (Required)
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) (Required)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) (Required)
