Kitchen Assistant - At Large - Parker

About the Role

The Kitchen Assistant works at various locations based on kitchen needs, under the supervision of the Area Manager. They develop and promote good community relations among students and staff while ensuring compliance with health standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily meal counts and production records.
• Assist in setup and cleanup of serving areas for timely service to students.
• Operate Point of Sale system and reconcile monies daily.
• Manage cooking and serving of students in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Participate in and lead training to kitchen staff members.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP plan and health department standards.

Requirements

• ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire.
• High School or equivalent education.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
