Patient Care Tech Float Pool

About the Role

The Patient Care Tech Float Pool performs treatments according to policy and procedure while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. They work under the direction of registered nurses to assist with patient needs and participate in quality care delivery across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments according to policy and procedure
• Function appropriately in clinical emergencies
• Assist in patient care delivery under the direction of a registered nurse
• Document and report all procedures per department policy
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), CPCT/A, or EMT certification
• 1+ PCT experience preferred
