About the Role

The New Grad RN position at AdventHealth in Parker, CO, offers a unique opportunity for new graduates to apply their nursing skills in a supportive environment. As part of the nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to regulatory standards and promoting patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge and skills related to diagnoses and treatments for unit patient population.
• Ensures medication safety and follows strict infection prevention protocols.
• Communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team and patients.
• Completes assessments and develops individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of care.
• Promotes an exceptional patient experience through effective communication.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required within 6 months of hire.
• New RN graduates or RNs with less than 1 year of experience are eligible.
• Formal education: Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience as a CNA, Student Nurse Tech, or EMT is preferred.
• Effective organization, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Compensation

• Base pay: $34.26 - $59.24/hr
