Ice Maintenance Tech (PT)-Discovery Park

About the Role

Under general supervision, the Ice Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining the skating surface at Discovery Park. This role includes operating ice resurfacing equipment and ensuring safety standards are met during maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operates ice resurfacing vehicle and related equipment.
• Assists in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the Discovery Park Ice Trail.
• Provides excellent customer service; resolves complaints and difficult situations.
• Responds to emergency situations and accurately completes incident reports.
• Maintains supply inventories for ice resurfacing operations.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks at the Discovery Park Ice Trail.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience operating an ice resurfacing vehicle preferred.
• Ability to learn and implement safety standards and maintenance procedures.
• Willingness to work various schedules and shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
