Cat Scan Technologist

About the Role

As a Cat Scan Technologist, you'll utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images for diagnosis. You'll be responsible for preparing patients, operating equipment, and ensuring a compassionate care experience.

Responsibilities

• Use CT scanners to create diagnostic images of patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and adjusting controls on equipment.
• Administer contrast materials as needed for scans.
• Interpret physician scanning instructions accurately and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Maintain quality in imaging protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification by ARRT (RT)(CT) required with current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year diagnostic experience with CT experience preferred.
• Solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.
