Recreation Attendant (PT) - Discovery Park

About the Role

Under general supervision, the Recreation Attendant engages in front-line services to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for patrons. Responsibilities include monitoring activities, maintaining order, and performing facility upkeep to meet safety and functionality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-line, day-to-day services in divisions such as Events, Recreation Center/Fieldhouse, and Discovery Park.
• Monitor and maintain the overall appearance and functionality of facilities.
• Assist with opening, closing, and inventory procedures as needed.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist in the evacuation of the program area.
• Facilitate games and activities during events.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen years of age.
• Experience in general cleaning and facility maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of recreation principles and customer relations techniques.
