Guest Service Representative (PT) - Discovery Park

About the Role

Under general supervision, this position offers customer service and performs clerical and janitorial tasks at recreational sites. The role emphasizes positive interaction with patrons to enhance their recreational experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform front line customer service duties and concession tasks
• Assist patrons with membership inquiries, class registration, and rentals
• Handle cash transactions and adhere to cash handling procedures
• Educate and enforce Recreation Facility policies and procedures
• Prepare food and clean concession equipment to meet health standards
• Assist with facility set-ups and tear downs for programs and rentals

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
• One (1) year of customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of modern office practices and recreation center policies
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
