Dollar Tree is adding a second Highlands Ranch store.
The chain is moving into 1970 E. County Line Road, Unit A, an existing 7,400-square-foot suite in The Plaza at Highlands Ranch on the County Line retail corridor. It is a new store, not a remodel of an existing one — the work converts the suite for a new tenant, and Dollar Tree's own job postings list the location with a new store number, 11684.
What we can confirm
Hiring is already underway. Dollar Tree is advertising part-time Customer Service Associate positions at the 1970 E. County Line Road address in its own job postings, listed at $16.00–$16.50 an hour on Indeed. A chain staffing a store is usually the last stretch before an opening, though no opening date has been announced.
The build-out is a full tenant conversion. Construction documents on BuildingConnected — first reported by What Now Denver — describe new partitions, restrooms, finishes and storefront updates, plus three new rooftop HVAC units and plumbing, electrical and fire-safety work.

This will be the chain's second store in Highlands Ranch proper — Dollar Tree's locator currently lists one at 8575 S Quebec St, Ste B. There's also a Dollar Tree at 181 W County Line Rd on the west end of the corridor, which carries a Littleton mailing address even though it sits on the Highlands Ranch boundary — the same address quirk that hits a lot of businesses along County Line.
