About the Role

As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will be integral to specimen collection, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout each process. Your role will involve various tests and procedures that are crucial for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous and capillary specimen collection
• Ensure quality collection of specimens
• Process and distribute samples to testing areas
• Participate in new associate and student training
• Resolve inquiries regarding lab results and test requirements
• Maintain communication for continuity of patient care

Requirements

• High School graduation or equivalent
• Completion of a phlebotomy program
• Prior phlebotomy work experience
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred
• Technical/Vocational school education preferred
• Ability to perform waived and moderate complexity testing
