About the Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for managing clinic operations, leading staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care. You will serve as a point of contact for daily operations, collaborating with healthcare teams to implement best practices and maintain compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

  • Delegate duties to office staff and manage operational issues.
  • Assess and resolve issues or escalate as needed.
  • Monitor physician schedules and organize patient care.
  • Take vital signs, document patient history, and administer medications.
  • Train staff and review patient care protocols.
  • Conduct audits to ensure timely follow-up of healthcare results.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of related work experience OR completion of AHMG Medical Assistant training.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
  • Certification from an approved medical assistant organization (e.g., CMA, CCMA).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
