About the Role
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for managing clinic operations, leading staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care. You will serve as a point of contact for daily operations, collaborating with healthcare teams to implement best practices and maintain compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
- Delegate duties to office staff and manage operational issues.
- Assess and resolve issues or escalate as needed.
- Monitor physician schedules and organize patient care.
- Take vital signs, document patient history, and administer medications.
- Train staff and review patient care protocols.
- Conduct audits to ensure timely follow-up of healthcare results.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related work experience OR completion of AHMG Medical Assistant training.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
- Certification from an approved medical assistant organization (e.g., CMA, CCMA).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
