Kitchen Assistant

About the Role

The Kitchen Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring efficient meal preparation and service at Rocky Heights Middle School. This position requires effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including students, staff, and community members.

Responsibilities

• Create positive relationships with the surrounding community and students.
• Assist in the preparation, service, and sale of meals.
• Maintain confidentiality of all student information.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and safety precautions.
• Participate in training and lead training for other kitchen staff.
• Serve meals daily while ensuring health department sanitation standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
